Now that all the tourists have all come and gone, it’s time for Louisville residents to acquaint themselves once more with some of the city’s best restaurants, museums and attractions.

The folks over at the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau have put together a Hometown Tourist Celebration this month, in conjunction with the National Travel & Tourism Week. More than 95 local businesses are participating, offering reduced rates on admission prices, food, drinks and much more.

The mayor will officially kick things off Tuesday morning at a press conference at Fourth Street Live, but Insider got a peek of some of the participating businesses, which are highlighted below.

The LCVB also is hosting a “What I Love About My Neighborhood” video contest: you could win $500 by submitting a one-minute video on what makes your neighborhood the best. The deadline is May 26.
