Twenty of Louisville’s top food trucks will converge Saturday afternoon at the Big Four Lawn for the second annual Louisville Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival. Add to that 10 regional breweries, live music, unicorns (!) and predicted temperatures into the upper 80s, and you have yourself a party.
The event is organized by the Louisville Food Truck Association, so all participating trucks have been inspected, permitted, licensed and insured. Also on hand will be a bounce house and inflatable obstacle course for kids, and a climbing wall and slide for adults.
And that unicorn we mentioned before? Children will have the opportunity to pet and have their picture taken with said mythical creature courtesy of Half Pint Hooves.
Participating food trucks are Crave A Go Go, SmokN Cantina, Captain’s Kitchen, La Chandeleur, Louisville Sushi Truck, 502 Cafe, Bellissimo, El Mambo, Germany #1, Moe-licious BBQ, The Grecian Mama, Longshot Lobsta, The Traveling Kitchen, Flavaville, Red’s Daug Pound, Get It On a Bun at Booty’s Diner, Lexie Lu’s, Fresh Out The Box, Louisville Dessert Truck, and Pollo – a gourmet chicken joint.
And participating breweries are Monnik Beer Co., Old Louisville Brewery, West Sixth Brewing, Lemons Mill Brewery, Against the Grain Brewery, Holsopple Brewing, Braxton Brewing, Mile Wide Beer Co., Pivot Brewing, and Rock House Brewing.
Providing the soundtrack for the day will be Paul John Moeller, The Uncommon Houseflies and Jameron.
