The venerable St. Charles Exchange.

More often than not, “lunch” for me is delivered Jimmy John’s eaten at my desk. But it’s 502 Lunch Week (actually it’s 2 weeks) now through the 20th. Maybe this is a good time to get out of the office and check out what real “ladies and gents who lunch” enjoy.

502 Lunch Week is a follow-up to a successful 502 Restaurant Week which was held last February. The company running the promotion is called 502 Events..

During 502 Lunch Week some restaurants are featuring a special deal for lunch for $10 or $15 per person, for a 2-course meal and a (non-alcoholic) beverage. Price does not include gratuity or tax.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Louisville’s Dare to Care Food Bank.

Participating restaurants include:

  • Austin’s Restaurant
  • Bistro 301
  • BLU Italian Grille
  • Champions Sports Bar and Grille
  • Champps Restaurant
  • The Corner Café
  • Down One Bourbon Bar and Lounge
  • Joe’s OK Bayou
  • K.T.’s Restaurant
  • Main Street Café
  • Maker’s Mark Bourbon House and Lounge
  • Mark’s Feed Store (5 locations)
  • Napa River Grill
  • St. Charles Exchange
  • Sway
  • Vincenzo’s Italian Restaurant

“Diners will enjoy a wonderful lunch at a great value. Many of the restaurants have outdoor seating which is another enticement to dine out in the middle of the day during a beautiful time of year,” said Belinda Gates, Owner of 502 Events in a news release.

And for the techie foodie– there’s an app for this! 502 Events app includes restaurant listings, menus and more!

Bon appétit!
