For those of you still on those New Year’s diets, it might be time to take one small break. Organizers have created the ultimate fundraiser featuring bacon, bourbon and beer, appropriately titled B3 Bash, on Saturday, Jan. 23. Proceeds benefit Kosair Charities, so you have a great excuse to overload on the three best B words there are.
Although at first the $80 ticket fee might seem steep, it comes with unlimited bacon creations by 20 local restaurants and chefs, unlimited drinks by the likes of Maker’s Mark, West Sixth and Old 502 Winery, live music by Tony & the Tan Lines, free Uber rides, a chance to bid on cool silent auction items, and much more.
Kosair Charities was founded in 1923 and helps area children and families by providing financial support for clinical services, research, pediatric health-care education and child advocacy.
B3 starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Mellwood Arts Center, 1860 Mellwood Ave. Tickets will probably go quick and can be purchased here.
