Louisville’s Boxcar PR is starting the year with a new office in downtown Lexington. The agency also has rolled out new branding and a new tag line — Boxcar [more than] PR.
The addition of the Lexington office brings Boxcar up to 15 employees in three offices; the other branch is in Cincinnati.
The Lexington office is being run by Geoff Dunn, a former senior advisor in the Beshear Administration. He has more than 20 years of experience in PR, both in the private and public sector.
“Geoff brings a whole new dimension of experience as well as a wealth of political expertise to Boxcar, we’re thrilled to have him as a part of the team,” said Boxcar founder Bob Gunnell in a press release. “Our agency is so much more than just a public relations firm and this new office and the Lexington team add to the range of services we offer our clients beyond just public relations.”
Boxcar was founded in 2011 as a boutique agency and handles public relations, public affairs, marketing, crisis communications, social media management, and creative services. Their clients include Muhammad Ali, Oxmoor Auto Group, Louisville Athletics and Visionworks.
The new office is located at 300 E. Main St. in Lexington.
