Consignment store Fabulous Finds is shutting its doors for good.

The shop, located at 2101 Frankfort Ave., behind Nancy’s Bagel Grounds, has operated in Louisville for 22 years, but starting Tuesday, it will begin selling all its merchandise for 50 percent off, according to a news release. Proceeds will benefit the Heuser Hearing and Language Academy, a not-for-profit center for people with hearing loss and ear-related disorders.

“It was not an easy decision to make, but we felt the time was right to focus on our other philanthropic endeavors to benefit Heuser,” owner Brad Broecker said in the release.

Fabulous Finds was created by the Friends of the Louisville Deaf Oral School, of which Broecker is president, to raise money for children with communications challenges, the release states.

The Clifton shop will remain open until its last piece of merchandise is sold.

Its hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
