The art of craft beer is not just about a preference for hops and sours. It’s also a story about how a need for new tastes and a head for innovation can create an entire industry.

To recognize the craft beer breweries that are a staple of our local food and beverage scene, Insider Louisville hosted The Business of Craft Beer event on May 16.

Insider Louisville contributor Kevin Gibson talked to key players on the local beer scene, including Derek Selznick (Executive Director of the Kentucky Guild of Brewers), Leah Dienes (owner, partner and head brewer at Apocalypse Brew Works), Adam Weston (Managing member and brewer at Again the Grain), and Kyle Tavares (co-founder and head brewer at Mile Wide Beer Co.).
