There’s a wide range of music options in Louisville this weekend, from a jam band at Hideaway to a night of rock at Haymarket to our pick of the weekend — singer-songwriter Andrea Davidson at The New Vintage. We’ve thrown in a comedy pick for those looking to laugh: Raanan Hershberg, whose new one-man show you can read more about here.

Hideaway Salon
Friday, June 27; 11 p.m.
$5 door

Great jam band out of Asheville, NC., Supatight plays Hideaway Friday night. They do funk, they do a little jazz, they like to toss in some funny. The band isn’t quite super tight, but it’s a fabulous start. The energy is high and these guys know what they are doing.

Raanan Hershberg: Please Someone F**k Me
The Bard’s Town
Friday and Saturday, June 27, 28; 10 p.m.
Tickets $10 adv / $12 door

This weekend at The Bards Town, Louisville has a chance to see the one-man show by the guy who puts together many-man shows. Raanan Hershberg put together an autobiography for the stage. He’s played clubs around the region getting props in Asheville and Cincinnati. Not that those are the reasons you should see him. You should see this show because it’s a Louisville original, and brilliant. Please Someone F**k me is two nights only.
