The KFC Yum! Center is looking to fill about 50 positions at a hiring event on Tuesday.
The job fair will be held in the arena’s front lobby on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., officials said. The venue said it hopes to hire more than 40 part-time housekeeping and conversion positions to assist with fall and winter events. Full-time slots are also available.
According to the center, the housekeeping team members will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the arena during sporting events, including the University of Louisville’s men’s and women’s basketball games, plus concerts and shows.
The conversion team helps transition the venue between events, the center said, installing and removing the basketball court as well as setting up staging and seating for concerts and other types of events.
Applications will be accepted on site and interviews will be held the same day, though candidates may also fill out an application during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
The KFC Yum! Center is also seeking one full-time human resources coordinator and one part-time sales assistant. Resumes for these positions will be accepted at the hiring event, the center said, adding that interviews will be scheduled for a later date.
