Louisville’s new French-style bistro is offering a New Year’s Eve dinner.
La Coop: Bistro à Vins bills its approach as “French comfort food with a Southern twist,.” and sure enough, the New Year’s Eve includes variations on Southern delicacies including black-eyed peas and greens mated up with Champagne and Crème Brûlée.
Two words to the wise: Limited seating. This has to be he smallest great restaurant in Louisville, so we wouldn’t dilly-dally.

Pork belly, poached egg, pear-lemon butter, bourbon cured spoonfish caviar and shaved black truffle

Seared duck fat cured beef tenderloin, butternut squash ravioli, Brussels sprout trifecta, caramelized truffled onion and bone marrow jelly

Seating for the eight-course tasting menu is available by reservation at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., and the cost is $75 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
