No summertime barbecue festival would be complete without live music and beer, and at this weekend’s Louisville Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival, patrons can get their fill of all three.
The annual fest, presented by Kroger and Four Roses, returns to the Water Tower this weekend, featuring two days of live blues music as well as a selection of the region’s best barbecue, craft beer and bourbon. Participating restaurants include Momma’s Mustard, Pickles and BBQ, The House of Brisket, and Rack House BBQ. Traditional festival food also will be available.
A Goose Island tasting area will be set up as well and will feature, for an additional fee, a sampling of more than 25 craft beers by microbreweries from across Kentucky. Four Roses Bourbon, Sailor Jerry Rum, Reyka Vodka, Milagro Tequila and Budweiser products also will be available.
Highlights on the music stage include Louisville’s own The Saints and V-Groove on Friday and the Tyrone Cotton Band on Saturday. The full schedule is below.
