Dixie Longate, aka “The Tupperware Lady.”

The fifth annual MAP Louisville fundraiser fights for great causes … all in the name of fun. An acronym for Making Acceptance Possible, MAP will be held this year at the Vernon Club & Lanes on Saturday, Jan. 17, and all proceeds go to the Fairness Campaign.

Dixie Longate, known as the “Tupperware Lady,” will host the event and bring her laugh-out-loud drag-comedy-routine-meets-Tupperware-Party to the stage. Longate mixes funny tales, heartfelt accounts, free giveaways and audience participation with her journey on how she became a member of the No. 1 Tupperware Seller in the World Club. A butter dish will never look the same again.

Also entertaining the MAP crowd will be the Derby City Sisters and DJ Brios. Tickets are $50 for general admission (access to the party and open bar) or $70 for the show packaage (Longate’s show, early access to the party and open bar). Doors open at 7 p.m. Vernon Lanes is located at 1575 Story Ave. Click here for more information.
