For more reasons than we can count, 2016 has been one kick in the shins after another. But the one-two punch of losing David Bowie and Prince was a doozy for music lovers. While there have been a number of moving tributes to the artists on various television award shows, we’ve yet to see one live here in Louisville — until now.

A Louisville Tribute to David Bowie and Prince will feature more than 25 hits performed by Jeremy Perry of The Deloreans as David Bowie and Zach Driscoll of The Deloreans/Maximon/Wax Fang as Prince, along with a backing band and special guests.

Vectortone, the concert promoter, first announced a free, late-night, post-Forecastle show on Saturday, July 16, at 11 p.m. at Haymarket Whiskey Bar. The response was so overwhelming, they have decided to add a second show on Sunday, July 17, at 7 p.m. Tickets for the “matinee” show are $10.
