A gathering of food trucks that may lead to bigger things.

Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., there will be a food truck event at GuardiCare, presented by Louisville Street Food Alliance. GaurdiaCare is at 215 W. Breckenridge St.

We got this news release from our friends at the South of Broadway District:

If SoBro hopes to have a permanent restaurant, we have to prove there is a viable market in the neighborhood. A mass showing of interest at the food trucks is the first step. Come hungry!

Featured food trucks scheduled are:

• Sweet n’ Savory
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert; we have what you want. Serving sweet and savory crepes, all of which are gluten-free, as well as smoothies, gelato, and coffee. We use local meats, fruits, and vegetables when seasonally available and our crepes are made with local, cage-free eggs.

holymoleHoly Mole
Holy Mole taco truck has been serving Mexican taqueria style tacos since 2011. Specializing in Mexican street food flavors, local produce, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Blackbeard Espresso Co.
Louisville’s first full time, independently powered “espresso and coffee food truck,” Blackbeard Espresso Co. has a meticulously crafted cafe menu on wheels that will make the world’s most affordable luxury more convenient than ever before.
