Building a stronger economy in the West End
OneWest, a nonprofit community development organization, has unveiled the launch of The Plan Room, which will be designed for Black and Brown contractors and construction business owners who are looking for help to grow their business and find more success.
UofL's work with new cancer drug
The University of Louisville, along with University College London, will work to advance development of and potentially expand toward future commercial uses of Qualigen Therapeutic's leading anticancer drug candidate. The cancer drug candidate has the potential to target and destroy tumor cells in various types of cancer with minimal side effects.
Lou Water Co. replaces systems
The Louisville Water Co. used a combined field service and asset management solution from KloudGin to replace systems that were 30 years old. The digital transformation helps the Louisville Water Co. maximize their scheduling, asset reliability, and uptime, as well as reduce capital and operational expenditures and unplanned downtime.
How to leverage AI in your organizations

Robotics and knee replacements
As part of its 2020 Governors Cup Awards, Site Selection magazine has released its annual analysis, which recognizes the state with the most qualifying new and expanded facilities per capita. The publication ranked the Louisville region #8 among top metropolitan areas when it comes to economic development.
YUM! and machine learning
YUM! Brands is acquiring Kvantum, a Texas-based technology company that will help them measure the performance of marketing programs in specific geographies. The deal will give the company a business that uses machine learning to understand consumer behavior.
