No one does Halloween like Fourth Street Live!

The downtown entertainment venue becomes a Wicked Wonderland with spooky sights and sounds on Saturday, Oct. 27.

That’s right, the Alice in Wonderland-themed party starts at 8PM, and there’s a fat $1,000 check on the line in each of three categories. The tough decision for many is which category to enter. Prizes will be awarded for the scariest, best couple and best Wonderland—themed costume.

Starting at 9 p.m., the real party gets rolling, with music by local favorites DJ Crizchin and DJ S.Y.I.M.O.N.E. Guests can purchase VIP packages good for beverages and food tickets, then enjoy great food and drink at these Fourth Street Live! venues:

  • Pizza Bar
  • The Sports and Social Club
  • PBR
  • Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse
  • Tavern on Fourth

The VIP packages, now available through Ticketfly, are just $45-50 and good for 9PM – Midnight. Doors open at 8:00 p.m., and the event ends at 1:00 a.m.

Halloween, of course, has become more than a single night of trick-or-treating. It has spawned a whole category of Hollywood movies good for watching throughout October. With the Halloween movie genre as inspiration, Fourth Street Live!’s Pizza Bar is hosting “Trick or Trivia” on Thursday, Oct. 25.

Teams of six can sign up to answer trivia questions from the genre, and there’s a costume contest. First prize is a 4-ticket package to the weekend’s Wicked Wonderland and a $100 gift card to Pizza Bar. There are 2nd and 3rd place prizes as well.

After the contest, guests can settle in for a showing of the classic Halloween film “Nightmare on Elm Street.” Of course, you can count on some scary-good drink specials as well.

The trivia contest starts at 7:00 p.m., so grab your geekiest group of movie buffs and head to the Street for a fun night.

Bobby Petrino Radio Show

Don’t forget that a regular happening at Fourth Street Live! is the Bobby Petrino Radio Show, originating from The Sports & Social Club. Host Jody Demling will talk with the University of Louisville head football coach in a live setting. Fans can make reservations by calling 502) 568-1400.

The Oct. 25 show starts at 6:00 p.m., as Coach Petrino previews the Oct. 27 home game against Wake Forest.
