Sometimes business innovation is downright adorable. That’s the case with Cuddle Clones, the Louisville company founded in 2010 to make stuffed animals from customer’s photos of their dogs—or cats or rabbits or horses or opossums or … well, you get it. The company has sold more than 50,000 “clones” and has made Inc. Magazine’s list of 5000 fastest-growing private companies three years in a row.
Cuddle Clones’ revenue has grown 156% over the past three years, landing it at number 2621 on Inc.’s coveted list. And when we say “adorable,” we’re not kidding. The company’s products are so lifelike you have to look twice to see which one’s the stuffed animal. Besides plush animals, customers can also buy figurines, coffee mugs, phone cases, golf-club covers, socks, t-shirts, blankets, custom face masks, and more. Doggone brilliant!
