Louisville: 27% increase in tech jobs between April and May

The Louisville metropolitan area recorded a 27% increase from April to May in the number of IT job openings advertised by employers, according to the latest CompTIA tech jobs report. UK study focuses on Alzheimer’s cure

Researchers at the University of Kentucky’s Sanders-Brown Center on Aging have made what they call exciting progress in their efforts to find treatments for memory decline and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Their study focuses on polyamines, molecules produced by our own cells that some describe as anti-aging generators.

Norton Healthcare’s new Neuroscience Institute

Norton Healthcare opened a neuroscience facility that will offer leading-edge technologies and research efforts. The Norton Neuroscience Institute will encompass more than 48,000 square feet of clinical, diagnostic and rehab space. Norton Healthcare invested $15 million into the space.
