HANDLE wins MedTech Breakthrough award
HANDLE Global’s Capital Cycle Management platform was selected as the winner of the “Best Data Visualization Solution” at this year’s MedTech Breakthrough Awards. The tech generates data-driven decisions for asset replacement based on factors such as age, repair history, utilization and equipment technology.
UPS work-study program
Living Options and Opportunities Path (LOOP) is a work-study program offered by UPS and Jefferson Community & Technical College. It allows students to work at the UPS hub in Louisville part-time while they attend classes at the school. The college work program has now expanded to all of Kentucky.
GE Appliances pushes out tech via download
Your smartphone isn’t the only item that sends automatic updates. GE Appliances, a Haier company, rolled out air fry upgrades to the owners of more than 60 smart oven models. Engineers pushed out the tech via an over-the-air software download to previously sold appliances with wi-fi capabilities.
