Louisville-based XLerateHealth (XLH) has announced the selection of seven startup companies to participate in its 10th cohort. Three of the companies are local:

Glucoconfidence—This is a veteran-owned company that aims to empower people with diabetes to live a life without limits by developing innovative, low-calorie, all-natural liquid glucose supplements for the insulin-taking diabetic community.

Repaytient—The company provides interest- and fee-free payment plans to help hospital and clinic patients pay their rising out-of-pocket expenses. It permits these payments to be made over time, which allows patients to receive essential and elective medical care.

RxLightning—Located in New Albany, RxLighting digitizes, automates, and streamlines the historically complicated manual enrollment process of starting a patient on specialty medications.

The cohort kicked off its accelerator program on Wednesday, August 5, and will culminate with a virtual Demo Day pitch to investors, healthcare ecosystem partners, and the startup community on Tuesday, October 13.
