Grind Burgers and good causes at ‘Eat & Greet’ this Friday, Aug. 22

Who doesn’t like a good burger and a good cause? You can get a taste of both this Friday, Aug. 22, at the “Eat & Greet” at Beckley Creek Park.

grind burgerGrind Burger Kitchen will be on hand with its food truck, and the first 100 people to show up will get a free burger. Meanwhile, there will be representatives from a number of local nonprofits, giving attendees a chance to learn more about these organizations and their missions.

Hosted by the Parklands of Floyd’s Fork and  OOHology, the event begins at noon (get there early!) and will be held at Beckley Creek Park’s PricewaterhouseCoopers Pavilion.

Attendees can meet and network with reps from a variety of Louisville nonprofits, including 21st Century Parks, Boys & Girls Haven, Scarlet Hope, Y-NOW Children of Prisoners Program, and St. Joseph’s Children’s Home.
