One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday is stroll over the Big Four Bridge and explore the various storefronts along  Jeffersonville’s Spring Street and Riverside Drive. There are so many more options than there were two years ago, and it’s fun to bar and restaurant hop all around town.

On Thursday, May 12, however, the best of what Jeffersonville has to offer can all be found one one place — at the Taste of Jeffersonville at Kye’s. Nearly 20 Jeffersonville restaurants have signed up to participate in the 16th annual event, and all proceeds go to revitalization projects in the Southern Indiana city.

Last year, winners included Red Yeti Brewing (first place), Orange Clover Kitchen & More (second) and Big Ben’s D&M Restaurant (third). This year’s lineup features those three along with Cluckers, the new O’Shea’s, Schimpff’s Confectionary, Sweets by Morgan, Davis Country Market and many more.

Taste of Jeffersonville takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, at Kye’s, 500 Missouri Ave. in Jeffersonville. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online or at Schimpff’s, CHOICES on Spring Street or the Jeffersonville Mayor’s Office.
